December 27, 2006 Hello All, I hope and pray this letter reaches each of you having an exceptionally good day and having had a very Merry Christmas/Joyeux Noel. As I write this letter, my birthday and the New Year are rapidly approaching and I’m asking myself where does all the time go ? It has been nine years since the seemingly perpetual nightmare I am living began. It seems like an eternity ! Christmas here on Death Row was like the last seven. It was almost (...)

February 1, 2006 Hello All, As always I hope and pray you are having an exceptionally good day as you read this letter. First and foremost, I apologize for more than a month of not writing. The beginning of the New Year was much like the end of the last year with little good news to share. However, now it seems things are moving in the right direction, so for a change I can share some good news with you. It won’t be all good news, but there is some and it will at least (...)

Hello, I hope this email reaches all of you having a good day. I just wanted to let you know that I saw Liz today, December 20th.
We mostly discussed her juror interviews. Surprisingly, the interviews went exceptionally well. They didn’t produce any groundbreaking information, but they did offer a lot of insight into why they decided to convict me and sentence me to death. Considering the fact that one of them was certain as to my alleged guilt, their answers are somewhat (...)

Hello All, As always I hope and pray this reaches you having an exceptionally good day. I’ve been trying to write this email for a week or so, but due to recent events my state of mind hasn’t been very good. I’m rarely at a loss for words, but lately I haven’t been able to find the words that accurately express my feelings. Most of you know I was looking forward to the Dallas Morning News stories being published. I was hoping the reporter would do things differently (...)

December 20, 2005 Dear Friends, I hope and pray this letter reaches you having an exceptionally good day and having had a very Merry Christmas. Even though I’m writing this before Christmas, I’m certain you won’t receive it until afterward. Lately, I’ve been finding that my views and opinions don’t mesh with those of many others. This fact hit me very hard last night after a priest brought me Communion. Before receiving Communion, we engaged in a lively debate. A (...)

Hello Friends and Family,
I hope and pray this email reaches each of you enjoying a glorious day.
I apologize for the back-to-back long emails, but I need to vent some of my anger and frustration. No, I’m not taking anything out on any of you, but it does me no good what-so-ever to write about my feelings and not get a response. It does me some good to talk openly about my feelings and get input. I’ve (...)

Hello All,
I hope this email reaches each of you enjoying a good day. I’m doing as well as this place, my situation and current events will allow. We have survived Hurricane Rita unscathed for the most part. Others in southeast Texas and Louisiana haven’t faired near as well. The Polunsky Unit was without electricity from about 4 AM Saturday morning until around 9 AM today, Monday. We had limited lighting with the emergency generators, but no power in our (...)

Hello All,
As always I hope and pray this email reaches all of you enjoying a beautiful day.
It’s hot again here in Texas. It cooled some last week, but now it’s back in the 90o to 100o F range. It’s hot again ! That’s Texas weather as usual.
I’ve been somewhat discouraged lately for more reasons than I can count. The number one reason being the fact that my dear friend and private investigator, Tena Francis, has move to Las Vegas, Nevada. She will still be able to work on the (...)
